Yruki
Yruki (the gorgeous little Chihuahua who appears on our newsletter front cover) was a very poorly little dog.
She was diagnosed at first with severe haemorrhagic gastro-enteritis but, over the period of her stay at the vets, she had many highs and lows. We were all delighted to hear when she was well enough to go home – phew, it certainly was a difficult time for the owners!
Yruki’s owners kept us informed throughout her stay in the vets and expressed how grateful they were for our help:
It was such a tough night and to see Yruki like this is just horrendous. We have everything crossed she gets through this. I don’t know how many times I can say ‘thank you’ but it won’t seem enough for what the charity is doing for us – it’s totally overwhelming.
I am so, so pleased to say that Yruki looks like she has made an almost perfect recovery. It has taken her a while to make it but she seems so much better and, as I have probably said many times now, that’s all thanks to you and your help. The thought that we could have lost our baby would have been unbearable. We never found out what the actual cause was but we are praying that it’s not something that will happen again. We are keeping her on a very plain and safe diet and she is still on the steroids but, hopefully, not for much longer.
I hope you have a very good Christmas and a great New Year and, if I can do anything in the future to raise donations, please let me know because I would love to help others in their time of need as you have helped us.
We honestly could not be more grateful for all the help you have provided us – we really would not have a dog right now if it wasn’t for your help.
