It is our aim to protect dogs from ill-usage, cruelty and suffering and, in particular:-

a) to provide kenneling and subsequent new homes for the dogs who have been lost or maltreated or are unwanted or abandoned within the areas of the Mid Sussex District Council and such adjoining areas as the Committee of the Society may, in its absolute discretion, decide.

b) to provide veterinary treatment for dogs in the care of the Society.

c) to educate the public to a sense of moral responsibility towards dogs and to encourage kindness towards them.
